I am running Windows Vista x64 bit OS with an Intel DP965LT motherboard with all the latest BIOS and Drivers installed. All Windows updates are current except Service Pack 1. When I did install SP1 previously, my computer would not even boot, and I had to reformat and start over. The IDT Audio now freezes and skips when I play a DVD using Windows Media Player, and even freezes and skips when playing an audio CD in Windows Media Player. I have a current version of Windows Media Player, and did not have any of these problems with the former SigmaTel Audio Driver, which has now disappeared from the Intel Drivers list for this board (DP965LT). The date on the IDT driver is the current one, namely 04/23/2009. What gives, Intel?
