Got wrong laptop and need to know about processor! Help!

I just got a new laptop and apparently they either gave me the wrong one or they have made some changes. It has a Pentium SU2700 processor. I thouoght I was getting a T6400. So, my question would be, should I keep this one with the SU2700 or return it for the T6400? I can't find anything here about the SU2700.

Thanks for any help...

Have you asked your laptop manufacturer why your system has a Pentium rather than a Core 2 Duo processor? If the SU2700 is truly a production (launched) mobile processor, you should expect to find details on the following web site: ark.intel.com. If the details for this processor are not in the tool, you might send feedback asking when such information will be available: mailto:ARK_Support@intel.com ARK_Support@intel.com

SU2700 = Core2 Solo 1.3GHz 2MB L2 Cache 800MHz FSB

T6400 = Core2 Duo 2.0GHz 2MB L2 Cache 800MHz FSB

So, the T6400 has dual cores as opposed to the SU2700, which has a single core. Plus, it's quite a bit faster as far as clock speed. If you ordered it

with a T6400, it's not an acceptable substitution by any means.
