BIOS updates are cumulative. The latest update will include updates previously released in earlier revisions. You can update directly from an earlier version to the latest.
But don't update yet because there will be a new BIOS this or next week, it was supposed to be released at the end of last month but for some reason it's delayed.
Thanks for the heads up. I've been a little hesitant to update because I have had very few problems with the 039 and I've read some horror stories about upgrading the BIOS....makes me nervous to do it.....
As they stated the BIOS is accumulative meaning that the latest will have all the fixes and updates from the older ones.
There is a catch, sometimes when the BIOS version that you have is really old like the one that you have you may want to update it in steps like for example to the 57 and then to the latest one.
When you update the BIOS there are several methods, one may work better than another for different situations. I usually prefer to use the BIOS recovery when updating from such older versions or when doing big jumps in versions.
