Receive side scaling for NetEffect Neo20

Good afternoon,

is it possible to enable receive side scaling (i.e. multiple receive queues) for an Intel NetEffect Neo20 running under Ubuntu Linux with kernel 3.2.0-37-generic and iw_nes driver, version 1.5.0.0.

A direct request to the Intel support suggested to use the mlx4_en driver as it comes with the receive side scaling feature, but the release notes of that driver say that it is only for ConnectX devices and not compatible with our NIC. We did try to load the driver but could not bring the NIC up.

Hi Lukas,

I consulted with my NEO20 guru's and got some answers for you.

NEO20 does not support RSS, and Ubuntu is not a supported Operating System for NEO20.

In addition, they mentioned that the NEO20 driver is iw_nes, not mlx4_en.
