I accidentally selected an option on accelerate tab on intel RST and made my SSD active to the raid and after that the acceleration Tab doesn't show up no more, I've deleted the disks, removed the raid , changed the sata ports updated my bios updated my ssd firmware created new raid volumes installed windows from scratch, no luck ! it doesn't show up no more ! I've set my raid to ahci and sata and returned it to Raid hoping it would clear the changes . I'd appreciate if someone shed light on this matter. !
you obviously are trying to use the Intel(R) Smart Response Technology, which requires an SSD, which has to be connected with an Intel SATA port running in RAID mode. The SSD should not be member of a RAID array.

it was already doing the job but there was an option on acceleration tab :
"make ssd active to raid" . after this selection no more acceleration tab appears . I've changed my windows deleted my raid updated my bios .
The message "Make SSD active to RAID" only means, that you should enter the BIOS and switch the Intel SATA Controller to "RAID" mode.
Usually the procedure is the following:
1. Connect the HDD, which you want to use as system drive, and your SSD to Intel SATA ports.
2. Enter the BIOS and set the Intel SATA Controller to "RAID" mode.
3. Install Windows 7 onto the HDD.
4. Install the RST drivers and the RST Console software.
5. Run the RST Console and hit the "Accelerate" button.
6. Enable the Intel(R) Smart Response Technology by choosing your SSD for Caching.
I understand that after selecting the option “Make SSD active to RAID”, you missed the acceleration option.
Note that the SSD needs to be separated of the RAID so you can use the unit to accelerate the system. Based on your description, what could happen is that selecting the option “Make SSD active to RAID” the SSD could have joined the RAID array. By doing this the acceleration option will disappear from the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology.
I suggest you accessing into CTRL-I and set the HDDs and the SSD as non member or deleting the RAID from the Option ROM (CTRL-I) so that that the SSD will be out of the RAID structure.
It is important to mention that the RAID mode and the acceleration will work when the chipset mode is set as RAID only.
