    graphics driver problem DC3217IYE

      Hi,

after installing the driver is no video on display.

When i install windows7 x64 without any drivers, i have "standart VGA adapter..." in device manager. And video on display was ok.

Then i install intel hd graphics driver 9.17.10.2932 and lost image. I can see only "starting windows" screen, and then is no image.

Windows is loading, all works fine except video. i can connect by any remote control program, but i can not change video settings, there is emty, blank fields.

I try previous version driver 9.17.10.2875, update bios v36, is not working.

i can only restore driver in safe mode back to standart VGA adapter and get back image on display, but it is very low graphics performance.

What more can be do? Help me please.

          Hi,

What are you using for a monitor? There have been some issues previously discussed on this forum that lead me to believe that the graphics drivers are picky about the display especially if HDMI. Try another monitor if you have one or try connecting dvi just to get a handle on what is going on. I had a similar experience with my dc3217by and it turned out that the graphics adapter did not like the HDMI cable that I was using.

          Good luck,

          John

"the graphics drivers are picky about the display especially if HDMI"

"the graphics adapter did not like the HDMI cable that I was using."

It is bad curve driver from intel.

My monitor is vga/dvi support, not hdmi. I used hdmi-dvi adapter, it works fine with graphics by AMD hdmi port. Now i change hdmi-dvi adapter and it working!

            Thank you!
