    How to get software to identify my Intel Board?

    Tom Gough

      I have a DZ77RE-75K retail Intel board installed in my own build computer running Windows 7 (64).

      I have tried to use the Intel Board Identification programs (both online and downloaded) and I get this message:

            Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

                Runtime Error!

                Program: C:\Users\Administrator|Desktop\BoardID.exe

                This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

                Please contact the application's support team for more information.

      I ran the Intel Board ID program (online failed also) because I could not install

      Intel(R) Desktop Utilities, version 3.2.4.  That utility claimed I did not have an Intel board!

      I have completely updated Windows 7 Ultimate (64) with all the latest updates and drivers.  I have also updated

      every Intel driver I could find that applied to my board and software.

      I am running 32GB of memory, an i7-3770K Ivy Bridge processor, an Intel 520 SSD, and two WD 1TB Sata6

      hard drives.

      I would certainly appreciate any help!
