How to uninstall ProSet Wireless drivers for Win7? (Not listed in add/remove programs list.)

    yani

      Hello all

I have a Samsung 700G7C-S01UK laptop, which contains an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 wireless card, and which runs Windows 7 64-bit.

The drivers provided by Samsung are out of date, so I downloaded and installed the following ones from Intel:

      Wireless_15.6_Ds64.exe (wireless driver) from http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22495&ProdId=3502&lang=eng

      and

      BT_2.6.1211_s64.exe (Bluetooth driver) from http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22422&ProdId=3502&lang=eng

Because I am currently testing different combinations of drivers with this laptop, I would like to be able to uninstall the drivers in the future.

However, whereas the Bluetooth driver appears in the Windows add/remove programs list, and can be uninstalled from there, the wireless driver does not appear in the add/remove programs list.

To be clear, the driver did install successfully, and the problem is not that I can't get the installation or uninstallation to complete. The problem is that there appears to be no way to uninstall it at all.

Could anyone advise on how I would remove that Intel wireless driver, if I wanted to?

      Thanks in advance.
