SSD 335 and data encryption

Hello,

I would like to ask does Intel SSD 335 series support hardware data encryption. I cannot see any reference to this on http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/solid-state-drives/solid-state-drives-335-series.html product page. On the other hand 335 series use SandForce controller that in general support data encryption. That is the reason of my concern now. The question is does 335 support encryption that could be turned on with ATA password feature?

Regards

Could someone check it for me perhaps, please?

No... And even if they claimed it to be so, we don't trust them at all right now...

You must assume that anyone that has direct physical access that drive, also has full access to all the data and files on it.
