We would like to inform you that we do not offer technical support for overclocking since it will shorten the life of your product, void the warranty of your processor, your motherboard, and possibly other devices installed in the computer. The memory controller on the processor is designed to support DDR3-1066/1333/1600 MHz rated at 1.5V exclusively:
Point taken and I knew this was coming, but then why do you build a motherboard that you state will.
I have lost my $270 for the DX79SR and spent $380 for a total of $650 and add that $600 for 32GB of memory and $999.99 for a GTX 690 and end it all with your new $1000.00 CPU i7-3970x and you end up with $3250 I did not add the $99.99 for the HAF XB case and the $120.00 for the H100i. I stick with your CPU and Network but will drop the use of your motherboards as I did 10 years ago. Thought I would give them a new go around.
You also should update the info on this MB and remove the 2400+ memory and the Overclocking should be removed from the Bios. Intel is not really looking at the Gaming side of their users.
