After upgrading the Intel Storage Drivers to 126.96.36.1990 from 10.8.0.1003 my system drive gets placed as Disk 2 instead of Disk 0. Another controller attached to PCI gets recognized before the onboard controller as Disk 0 and Disk 1:
I don't know why this happened but using 10.8.0.1003 my system drive gets recognized (as it should being on the onboard controller) as Disk 0.
I find this a bit annoying and see some potential problems.
I have tried to deactive (device management) the present Disk 0 and Disk 1 and rebooting, but when I activate these disks again, the problem persists - they get placed as Disk 0 and 1 on reboot.
Any ideas on what's going on and maybe a cure?
