The latest generic driver that we provide for that video controller is 18.104.22.168.2827 (22.214.171.12427 and it is posted here:
If during the installation of the Intel generic drivers you get this message: “driver not validated on this computer”, go here for further instructions:
it gives me a different error notice then the 2 which mentioned in the link you gave me.
the massage is:
"this setup failed to install one or more device drivers, setup will exit"
what should i do ?
You can try uninstalling the driver that is currently installed. That is done through the control panel, under programs and features; locate the Intel® Graphics and media driver (or anything similar) and then uninstall it. After that is done, try to load the driver again or try the instructions posted on this article:
If the issue persists, you may need to check with Gigabyte for a customized driver provided by them and check if the issue persists with their drivers.
find those 2 in 'program files x86' - 'Intel'(didn't find it in 'program and features'):
1. Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver .(dated 2 February 2010)
2. Intel(R) Processor Graphics ( dated 3 January 2012).
a. which of them i should try to uninstall?
b. if I'll remove the existing driver will i see anything on my pc monitor/screen so i'll can to install the updated driver?
There should be only one installed. I am not sure if this happened due to a failed attempt to install a driver for another type of video controller, or if this operating system was installed using another system (and older one) and then you moved the hard drive to this new system without reinstalling the operating system.
Anyhow, you can remove both and still you will get video on your system to be able to keep using the system and load the correct driver
o.k i found driver location.
then i had still problem to install the new driver.
at the end, i'm not sure exactly how, somehow windows installed successfully the driver it's exe. i downloaded earlier.
now i have installed ver.126.96.36.19927 which i believe is the latest one.
Yes, that is the latest generic driver we provide.
I am glad that you have been able to update the driver in your system.
you can close this topic as solved.
