Hello,
I am having some issues with driver version 15.28.7.2875 of the Intel HD Graphics 3000 driver for Windows 7 / Vista.
I tried to install both 64bit and 32bit of the .exe's but with my current driver it says its not validated for this computer, please obtain appropriate driver from computer manufacturer.
When I go to Device Manager>Display Adapters>Intel HD Graphics Family>Uninstall Driver it will then say after uninstall "Computer does not meet minimum requirements of this software". Also for some reason which IDK, my PC automatically updates the old April 2011 driver from my manufacturer's website.
MY SPECS
CPU: Intel Core i3 Quad Core / 2nd Gen @2.2ghz ~ 2.2ghz ~ 2.2ghz ~2.2ghz
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 3000
RAM: 4GB
MODEL: HP Pavilion g6 laptop
BIOS: I don't know
HDD: 500GB
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
My driver I downloaded properly. http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3319&DwnldID=22081&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Laptop+graphics+drivers&ProductProduct=2nd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+3000/2000&DownloadType=Drivers&lang=eng Download CenterSupport
Here's my pics of what happens, they're in order BTW.

Hi Cody196,
There are a few other methods we could try for that driver install. The first one being similar to what you've already tried. Uninstall the driver that's currently in use (if prompted, check the box for 'delete driver files'). Then, instead of using the .exe driver, try downloading the .zip one, and running it using the have disk method here; http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-029635.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-029635.htm
If that doesn't work, try running the Intel Driver Update Utility located on; http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ Intel Download Center
Let me know how it goes,
-Nic

Hello Nic,
I got another issue with this. When I need to restart my PC for old driver to finish uninstalling, it automatically reinstalls the same old driver. Please help, what service does this to disable or enable?

Hold off the reboot after the uninstall until you've installed the new driver, then do the reboot.
