I had this Intel website scan my computer for outdated drivers. I had an update for my graphics driver, and the one suggested to me was Intel HD Graphics Driver 3000 so I downloaded it. After I restarted my computer and everything booted up, my screen was BRIGHT pink, red, and orange! I could barely read any text and could barely even see my mouse. All the colors were so messed up! Later, my computer went to sleep and when I wiggled my mouse and the screen came back up, it was normal for about 2 seconds and then went back to being completely out of whack. How can I fix this? I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on an HP Envy 15 Notebook PC.

Assuming you can read anything on your computer; can you provide your dxdiag for us to take a look at? It would help in diagnosing your issue possibly. (Start -> Run -> dxdiag -> Save All Information).

Hello Nic,

I ended up system recovering my computer to an earlier restore point to fix everything... but now my graphics are still acting a bit weird. Would the dxdiag still help right now or no, since things are back how they were?

A copy of your dxdiag would be great. Also, can you tell me what driver specifically you updated to that resulted in your pink-screen of death?

Hello, I have found myself having the same problem as Hannah. I can undo the graphics update with a system restore and my laptop will work just fine. I'm actually running the exact same laptop model she is, too.
