Intel Rapid Storage Technology (Intel RST) requires at least one SATA drive.
Five Serial ATA (SATA) ports:
― Two SATA 6.0 Gb/s interfaces through the Intel Q77 Express Chipset with
Intel Rapid Storage Technology RAID support (blue)
― Two internal SATA 3.0 Gb/s interfaces through Intel Q77 Express Chipset
with Intel Rapid Storage Technology RAID support (black)
Set the SATA BIOS setting to RAID to use IRST. Single drives are allowed.
Go to downloads for the DQ77KB and the IRST downloads. The first two are the F6 floppy files for
32 and 64 bit OS. You need to unzip the file to use it. In nLite you will be asked the driver name you want. I don't know what that is, but you can use all or more than one of the choices available on your nLite installation.. You may also install the main IRST program (size 12.35 MB) after installing Windows XP.
