DDR3 memory is not supported on the DG43NB. It physically won't fit.

The release notes for BIOS rev 60 state:
- Set SMBIOS type16 max memory capacity = 8GB.
AFAIK type 16 means Physical Memory Array.
All of the other documentation holds to the 4GB limit. Maybe that's an over site? If you can get your hands on some spare 4GB DIMMs it would definitely be worth testing. After updating the BIOS of course.
I haven´t got 4 GB modules, but I haven´t got 4GB so that´s why I was wondering whether anybody has got some experience on this issue in general, before I purchase them
Sure, I get that. But in the mean time if you can borrow some 4GB DIMMs, it's worth testing. I wouldn't recommend buying some on such shaky evidence though.
