If you already built a system do NOT upgrade your bios unless you absolutely have to to fix a problem, and only if you have another cpu available to downgrade if it fails (e.g. cheap sandy bridge celeron) Keep a copy of the old bios too, it might vanish off the site.
One person has already experienced a formerly working cpu (3770K) no longer booting after an update removed it from the firmware cpuid table.
