I have a server with the following specs
|SDR Version||SDR Package 0.17|
|CPU||Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3430 @ 2.40GHz|
|Operating System Name||Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition Service Pack|
|Memory||4GB DDR3 1067|
|Raid Controller||SRCSATAWB Firmware 1.40.92-0746|
|Hard Drives||6 x SATA 500GB 7200RPM Drives RAID 5 with Hotspare|
When i restart the server it takes about 7 min before i hear the beeps then the intel logo flashes. Anyone else experiencing long post times on this board.
I would first update to the BIOS 51 package, then do a test boot without the RAID controller or any USB devices attached, and the memory temporarily removed
You should get three beeps within maybe thirty seconds of power-on. If you do, add the memory back in and do a test boot, then proceed doing one bit at a time.
