I have noticed that, for a while now, the Chipset Software category is missing from the Download Center. This is troubling. It is where I have always gone to find drivers and software for non-Intel manufactured boards. To find Rapid Storage, Chipset Infs, USB 3.0 drivers, etc. This category is simply gone now. All that is left is those PV (ie meant for Intel manufactured boards) drivers. I worry that Intel is dropping driver support for non-built by Intel boards. Perhaps I am overreacting but companies such as Asus are horrible at providing the latest drivers for their boards and I rely on Intel to offer general chipset related drivers that are up-to-date.
I hope this missing category is just an oversight and will be returned soon!
The Chipset Software option has moved to the ‘Software Products’ category. We have also replaced the chipset hardware content with a single searchable page that provides redirects to the proper support channels for chipset HW. It also has links to all the available chipset SW content & downloads on the site. This URL can be used to go to the chipset information needed: http://www.intel.com/support/go/chipsets.
