Hi,
Anyone any idea how I can get the HDMI output working on my system? I am assuming there is no official support yet as Intel Update Utilities have drawn a blank.
Device ID : PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0046&SUBSYS_21C817AA&REV_02
Operating System : Windows 8 x64
Driver installed : Intel HD Graphics WDDM 1.1 ver 8.15.10.2702
Many thanks in advance for any replies
Dave

Hi Gaz
Try the latest Intel HD Graphics driver for Windows 8.
For the 32 bit version test driver - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=21839 http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=21839
For the 64 bit version test driver - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=21840 http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=21840

I downloaded the 64 bit version test driver - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=21840 http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=21840 , unpacked en used setup to install.
That does NOT work, I got a windows with the header "Error" and the message:
This computer does not meet the minimum requirements to install the software.
I am running Starry Night Pro Plus 6.
Windows 8 tells me I have the following Display adapter: Intel(R) HD Graphics (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)
Shuttle SH55J2:
PROCESSOR
Intel Core i5 661 processor
LGA1156 socket
Note: Please choose processors with Intel HD Graphics technology to utilize on-board graphics function.
This is what I use, as wel in Win7 as Win8.
CHIPSET
Intel H55
MEMORY
DDR3 1066/1333 MHz support, over clock to 1600 MHz (TBD)
RAM Socket * 4, 2 channels support (2+2)
System DDR3 1066/1333 Mhz 16 GB total (4GB*4).
What do I have to do in order let Starry Night run?

I have the exact same problem. HDMI output was working just fine, then I upgraded to windows 8 and now it will not work. I have tried installing the new driver and I receive the same error message:
This computer does not meet the minimum requirements to install the software.

DEV_0046 belongs to HD first generation graphics, means not supported for Windows 8 generic drivers.
