Hi all, quick question here.
I'm evaluating HDMI-to-VGA converters for use in a desktop-replacement scenario. The machine is a stock HP Folio 13, and I'm trying to figure out whether or not I can use an active converter without a dedicated power brick. The laptop's always on wall power in this usage, so draining the battery's not an issue. The graphics chipset is Intel HD2 Graphics 3000, and my question is what current draw will the HDMI +5V rail support in this configuration?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
We have not validated or tested any type of similar configuration, so in this we suggest that you check with your Original Equipment Manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer directly for further information on this.
