I recommend checking with Apple because Intel drivers do not work with Apple computers. See if there is a compatible driver for your computer model through your computer manufacturer.
Intel device drivers DO run on Apple MacBook Pro with Windows installed (via Bootcamp). And I was talking about the device drivers provided by Apple in its Bootcamp package. And this driver in question particularly was written by Intel.
I found the USB driver from the HP website. Extract the files from the executable with Winrar and it worked perfectly.
I hope it has helped you
Encontrei o driver USB no site da HP. Extraí os arquivos do executável com o Winrar e funcionou perfeitamente.
Espero que tenha te ajudado
It might be a bit late but here's a response for future googlers:
Long story short, if using the above drivers fail, it's probably because you've previously ran the Intel xHCI driver setup.exe at least once in the past. This installs a iusb3mon.exe - as the name states, it's a USB monitoring tool which inadvertently has an exclusive lock on your USB device, and this stops VMWare from accessing the device at the root level.
To fix that, UNINSTALL your Intel driver from Control Panel, and reboot your computer. Then use Device Manager to install the DRIVER FILES manually. For more info, please follow the link above. It has much more detailed instructions.
Hope this helps!
