HDMI doesn't work with a switch

hi i'm using a belkin HDMI switch to connect my pc with a beamer. but is won't work, because my pc doens't give power to the switch. when i connect my pc directly to the beamer, then it works. is there a sollution, or is it impossible to work with a HDMI switch?

Hello,

I suggest that you check with your HDMI switch and system manufacturer for an alternate option to connect the beamer to your system.

If a direct connection is working, then the port and the driver are working properly as it was validated to work.
