Windows won't start after changing BIOS to "Optimal Default"

Please help... I have a DP35DP board.  In the BIOS, I chose the option of "Load Optimal Defaults", Saved changes then attempted the boot.  I now get the "Windows Error Recovery" (black and white) menu.  it says "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause..."  I chose the "Last known good configuration" but that is not working (I'm getting the same error screen).  Does anyone have a suggestion to help me get back to where my computer will boot successfully?    - at your mercy!
