Dear All,

I've a Intel Xeon E5620 2.40Ghz 5.86 Gt/s with 12 Gb x8 DT1 .

a) How to increase the CPU performance automatically while multitude hits.(1,000,00) the website with concurrent sessions.rather than NLB or any option of clustering?

b) If then any Software or Hardware tool preferably ?

c) How does it differ from VIP solution / DNS load balancing?

Give us a solution for CPU load balancing

Thanks a ton in advance

Regards

Prem Jose

I would suggest disabling the Enhance Intel SpeedStep® Technology feature, since this feature forces the processor to run slower in order to save power consumption when it is not in full load.

Other than that Intel® currently do not have a software / hardware tool to increase the processor performance.

Remember that the usage of the processor or even the cores of a particular processor is determined by the operating system and the running application, so make sure that the software that you are running is designed to take full advantage of the multi-core feature of the processor.
