Hi,
we have 82599ES based X-520-SR2 dual port server adapter card.
After installing card and its supported ixgbe 3.6.7 driver on my system eth2 and eth3 port is generate.
I installed ethtool 2.6.36.
When i test network card with ethtool command then test for eth2 is fail but eth3 is pass as follow.
root@PC:~# ethtool -t eth3
The test result is PASS
The test extra info:
Register test (offline) 0
Eeprom test (offline) 0
Interrupt test (offline) 0
Loopback test (offline) 0
Link test (on/offline) 0
root@PC:~# ethtool -t eth2
The test result is FAIL
The test extra info:
Register test (offline) 0
Eeprom test (offline) 0
Interrupt test (offline) 0
Loopback test (offline) 13
Link test (on/offline) 0
Please give me solution and what it mean "Loopback test (offline) 13".
