per Intel (http://ark.intel.com/products/65707 Intel&# 174; Core™ i5-3317U Processor (3M Cache, up to 2.60 GHz), this processor is ready for Intel Wireless Display, yet isn't listed on their current list of supported processors http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wtech/iwd/sb/CS-031059.htm Intel Wireless Display — System requirements for the Intel Wireless Display which was just updated 7/27/2012.
I'm looking to pick up new laptop, considering Toshiba Satellite P845-S4200
thanks

Since the processor is not listed as one of the required processors, it might not work, but my best recommendations would be to make sure that the laptop that you want to buy has an Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) logo.
If the laptop does not have this logo sticker, then the wireless display feature will not work.
