I'm running a 4 disk RAID10 on a DP67BG board with Windows 7. Yesterday I got an error message from the Intel Rapid Storage Technology app (version 10.8.0.1003) that shows the RAID status as "Incompatible" and the type as "unknown". The troubleshooting section of "Help" lists the cause of this condition as moving the volume to another system which does not support the volume type and configuration. I haven't moved anything anywhere. It also lists the solution as deleting the volume and creating a new one. This would entail a clean install of the entire system. Avoiding this type of PITA is the reason I went with a RAID in the first place. What could have caused this and is there any less drastic solution?
