Thank you for your post.
Correctly we do not have an ETA on when Windows* 8 beta drivers will be posted/made available.
The lasted Windows* 7 drivers (released on July 20th) would be available here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3315&DwnldID=21560&ProductFamily=Wireless+Networking&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+Centrino%C2%AE+Wi-Fi+Products&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Centrino%C2%AE+Advanced-N+6230&DownloadType=Software+Applicationseng
For testing you may try using just the base drivers (the first two options on at the link above)
Thanks for the reply Nathalie.
I did try the driver package but I don't think it installed correctly. I was left with no Start Menu entry, nothing in Uninstall Programs and I couldn't actually find the drivers on the C: drive. The 6230 didn't find any drivers either when doing a search.
What I would like to do is unpack the the driver exe and then point the 6230 at the folder of drivers.
I tried the usual ways of unpacking Wireless_15.2.0_Ds64.exe (Winrar etc) but didn't have any luck.
Can you tell me how to extract the actual driver files from this package? .inf files and etc.
