Thank you for your post. You may just need to enable the Intel® My WiFi technology; it is part of the Intel® PROSet wireless WiFi software. If you already have the software installed and need to enable the Intel® My WiFi technology see the instructions below:

  1. Go to Start, Control Panel, Programs, Uninstall a program
  2. Double-click on the Intel® PROSet Wireless Software
  3. This opens the "Install Shield Wizard" window
  4. Click on "Next" select "Change"
  5. Check if left to "Intel® My WiFi Technology" you have listed a red "X"; if this is the case:
  6. Select the option "Entire feature will be installed on local hard drive"
  7. Click on "Next", wait for the "Install Shield Wizard" to finish and click on "Finish"

If you do not see the Intel® PROset wireless Wifi software then click on the link below, download and install either theWireless_15.1.1_s32.exe if for Windows* 32 7 bit or the Wireless_15.1.1_s64.exe for Windows* 7 64bit:

I hope this helps
