I want to run some MPI benchmarks on the SCC, and I have my RCKMPI cross-compilation environment set up on the MCPC. Although I haven't had any issues compiling and executing the applications written in C, I haven't been successful in setting up the cross-compile environment for the benchmarks written in Fortran.
Can someone who's been able to do so walk me through the step by step process for setting up a working Fortran cross-compile environment (preferably with an open source compiler like gfortran) with RCKMPI on the MCPC?
Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.
have you tried building a toolchain with crosstool-ng? You can get it from start [crosstool-NG] .
Here is an old config file for 1.11.3 (attached) that will generate a 4.5 toolchain for C, C++ and Fortran. Rename it to '.config' before building (refer to the crosstool-ng documentation to get started).
