Extremely high CPU temp in Bios

I just finished building my 1st PC (i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core; Intel DH67BL mother board). But the processor temp in bios is at 83 Celsius. I'm sure the fan is installed correctly and I put thermal paste on as well. Can anyone tell me what's going on? Thanks!!!!!35

You need to check your thermal paste!

          Power down.

Open the case, ground your self by touching the case metal.

Detach your cooler, clean what ever thermal paste is left on the cooler and CPU.

Get some new Arctic Silver, apply correct amount on CPU.

Make sure the connection from cooler to CPU is snug and lightly torqued.
