SccKit 1.4.2.2 and the new sccLinux -- some new features

The upcoming  sccKit 1.4.2.2 with the new sccLinux will have the following new features:

      • Fixed training presets, allowing DVFS to work correctly with all initial system settings
      • Virtual Serial Ports for each core, usable e.g. for console access and kernel debugging
      • Linux kernel updated to 3.1.4. Refactored SCC patches allow easier update to future kernel versions
      • Core frequency controllable by kernel/shell, using the SCC frequency scaling driver
      • Correct per-core time-keeping, even if core frequency changes .  OS now detects core frequency.
      • Includes L2 cache flush routine as part of default Linux image
