I have the same problem, I flashed the bios with the win7 express application, now, when I want to boot nothing happens.
Pleas help. Board
I updated bios with last update (79), for a motherboard DP67BA with F7 bios update from kingston 8gig fat32 flash memory include .bio file.
after a normal, automatic reboot, system shutted down. And after that, it didn't booted again.
I've tried with Recovery BIOS, with a back connected, USB 8GB, FAT32 formatted pendrive and cd-rom with .bio file in root , but nothing happens.
Fans and lights are on, but screen is blank.
Did any if you finally manage to fix the problem ? I'm having the same issue and was unable to perform the recovery even though I tried with both CD-ROM and USB drive (formatted in FAT and FAT32).
I'd be happy to know what was the outcome.
Hi all, it would be good to know what was the previous BIOS version. When updating the BIOS we recommend incremental updates; you may skip few versions (depending on BIOS versions) but it is better to continue doing the update in increments in order to avoid this type of issue.
The Intel® 6 Series motherboards have specific update instructions that are explained in the article below.
You may want to try removing the CMOS battery for thirty minutes and try a BIOS recovery again. If you do not get the expected beeps without RAM/VIdeo the only thing left to do is checking if the motherboard is still in warranty so you can contact Intel® support for replacement.
I am truly sorry for this inconvenience.
