I work in the Desktop Board Group for Intel and yes the DZ77BH-55K does use a Texas Instruments chipset. It is the Texas Instrument (TSB43AB22A).
I also suggest you fix the technical spec doc as it states on one page that DZ77BH-55K has ALC892 and on 2 other pages that it has ALC898. I'm under the impression that the actual chip in this board is ALC898? Please fix this:
Thanks Chris. Just the answer I was hoping for, and I had assumed it was a TI chip, but was concerend when the documentation didn't reference it.
