I have a DELL XPS 410 with a Intel Matrix Storage Console 6.0 installed. Today I got an error message showing on the tray icon stating that "... a hard drive in a data redundant RAID volume reports that it may fail". I opened the storage console and right clicked on Port 1 (which was showing the SMART event) and reset the hard drive. The resulting message stated that the system was operating normally and was protected against a single hard drive failure. Eventually, the SMART message came back on. I ran a diagnostic on the system and the all of the hardware checks out okay. Can anyone give me some guidance on what to do with this problem?
