Hi,

I've recently built an HTPC computer. The specs are as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i3-2120T 2.6GHz Dual Core

Motherboard: ASUS P8H61-I (Rev B3)

Chasis + PSU: Antec ISK 310-150 (150W PSU)

Disk Drive: Western Digital Scorpio Blue 640GB (5400rpm)

I'm using the intel integrated graphics on the processor. r:

Hi there!

This problem does not appear to be graphics driver issue. It seems to be graphics hardware. If you already have the latest graphics drivers, try testing your hardware.

Here is the link to download graphics drivers:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Processor+graphics&ProductProduct=2nd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+3000/2000 http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Processor+graphics&ProductProduct=2nd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+3000/2000

To test your hardware you will need to work at BIOS level or let the system idle in the BIOS to see if the computer crashes. If it does crash, the problem is related to the processor itself (graphics portion), if possible try another processor on the motherboard, this will let you know if you have a hardware or software issue.

Thanks

Allan.

I am having the same issue, and have had across 2 motherboards (both ASUS P8H67M-EVO and under multiple operating systems (originally Windows 7 x64 and now Windows 8 x64). I have been updating BIOS, graphics drivers etc for a year and the problem continues. It is very erratic - it can go a week without, however since upgrading to Win8 it is more frequent and typically multiple times a day.

Hi i have an intel Spring Peak platform exactly an Olivetti Olibook S1530 and i have the same problem!

Specs Cpu Intel I7-2670QM mobile processor with integrated graphics intel HD 3000

and randomly it crash and I am forced to push power button to reset the system.

The laptop originaly mount an intel I3-2310M processor with integrated graphics hd 3000 and again with the same simptoms!

The chipset is the Sandy Bridge platform

I think is someting conected to the FlashPlayer plugin because it happens often when i am online with chrome and i whatch streaming material or almoust all the websites use flashplayer to make the website menus.

Can intel investigate the problem and make a new driver for 2 Gen intel platform!? Thanks
