    82567 Driver Question?

    rkarne

I am constructing a NIC driver for 82567 chip for Optiplex 960 desktop. The driver does not use any OS or other libraries.

I was able to adress most of the registers using CSR memory address starting at 0xfe6e0000. I can use this base address

and access registers using their index values.

However, I am not able to read or write any PHY registers. The SDM says, 82567 is hard coded to 01h. What does this mean?

What memory mapped address need to be used to address PHY registers? Please help.
