    Problem with chipset

    Slayman

I have a P31 Express chipset motherboard. Everythings was ok till last week. Temperature of a North Bridge with that chipset started gain a 80C degrees:( So i though that the motherboard is broken i changed it for a new one with G41 Express chipset, both Intel's chipset, and is the same:( So my question is: what may cause that temperatures in chipset?

      My computer specification is:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

      RAM: 4GB Kingston DDR2 (2x 2GB)

      AC adapter: OCZ Modular 700W

      GPU: GeForce GTX 560 Ti

so what may cause of this?

      Please help:(

          Hello,

I suggest you to check directly with your motherboard manufacturer to see what are the thermal specifications of your system. Keep in mind that for some computers the MCH and ICH may reach up to 90 °C Celsius within the specifications.
