Have you tried getting an earlier driver?
Based on your experienced it looks like you need a customized driver for your computer model from your computer manufacturer. Please check with Apple for custom drivers.
Apple doesn't do customized Windows drivers for Macs with the HD3000. BootCamp uses regular plain vanilla Intel drivers (those that are also advised by the Windows update feature).
Intel drivers have been plagued by incompatibilities in the past (my personal gripe, an incompatibility of Intel drivers with the games Mass Effect 1 & 2, was only recently resolved with the 2622 drivers).
To the OP and anyone else who might be interested: It would be good to see if that particular problem also exists on a machine that's not a Mac with the HD3000. Anyone care to test, perhaps? (I'm also on a Mac and don't have access to a Windows machine with a HD 3000)
