My company is upgrading all users to the latest mobos and CPUs very soon. I'm thinking about standardizing on the Xeon E3 CPU for desktop power users, and perhaps the Xeon 5000 or 6000 for multimedia workstations. Does anyone know if the DZ68BC mobo is compatible with the Xeon E3-1275 CPU? From everything I read, it looks as it ought to be compatible in terms of socket, wattage, etc.
Thanks in advance for any info you may be able to provide.
Hi JRD - Here is a link http://ark.intel.com/products/52277/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E3-1275-(8M-Cache-3_40-GHz) to the processor and it appears to me it is for a server. The compatible server boards are at the link. Regards. Peter
