    CPU type cross reference

I've seen various values associated with Itanium CPU types.    Is there a handy cross reference to relate things like Itanium 2 and 3 specfic cpu chip modules to number 9xxx number values?

          Hi Jim,

Itanium is the brand name for 64-bit Intel microprocessors that implement the Intel Itanium architecture (formerly called IA-64). Intel has released two processor families using the brand: the original Itanium and the Itanium 2. Starting November 1, 2007, new members of the second family are again called Itanium, meaning we have dropped the 2 in the name. In 2006 Intel assigned the Sequence 9000 to the Itanium product line. The current shipping product line is the Intel® Itanium® Processor 9100 Series. You can go to http://www.intel.com/products/processor/itanium/specifications.htm to get a snapshot of all the Intel Itanium processor 9000 Sequence products and their key features and specifications.

To compare processor features for currently available and supported Itanium products, including older versions of Itanium processors, you can use the sort table available at http://ark.intel.com/productcollection.aspx?familyID=451.
