For fun I installed the old game called Freelancer (Feb 2003) and it runs OK
the problem is with the in game menus, they tend to tear suggesting the GPU is working up a sweat.
Travelling from place to place is fine, other spacecraft in the vicinity all render fine too.
The game is not very demanding so I wanted to see how playable it is.

Hi there!
I recommend contacting your game developer for game compatibility information; Intel does not have a list of tested games for your graphics controller.
Additionally, for game troubleshooting help, try below:

Thanks

I am a 2 times Windows MVP with a strong hardware background
the problem seems to be with the diver as using any display adpater from AMD or NVIDIA work fine
Freelancer and Starlancer are old games that use the CPU as much as the video logic. Freelancer was delayed as it likely would have been released in 2001.
The game generally works ok, if I mouse over the close box, the menus stabilize enough to be able to see what is sellable etc.

Also interested to get solution of this problem.
Freelancer is a cult game, and it's important for me of its correct working.
There are complete solutions of old intel 810/815 chipset. Hope to have one for gma 3150. Game also works well except text tear.
