    original fan to use?

    ddanielhu

      Hello,

I have a Celeron 430 installed on my desktop motherboard with the boxed fan.

I would like to know whether I can use this fan&heatsink with an other faster core 2 duo processor like 2140, 4300, etc.

As I see the TDP for celeron 430 is 35W and for pentium dual core 65W.

thanks for any help and info.

      The fan&heatsink is:

      Intel

      E30206-001

      DTC-AAM14

      12VDC 0.60A

      DELTA

No, usually each processor family has a different fan/heatsink, and even some processor models on same processor family have different fan/heatsink. So in this case, in order to determine the exact fan/heatsink for a particular processor, you need to specify the exact processor model that you want to install, so I can find the right fan for the defected processor model.

I will replace my Celeron 430 with a Pentium Processor E5700 (2M Cache, 3.00 GHz, 800 MHz FSB). I got a used fan with heatsink from my friend, its part number written on it is:

            E18764-001

            DP803G10

            DTC-AAT01

            12VDC 0.60A

            DELTA

Would it be a proper one?
