Please bear in mind the memory controller is now located on the processor, therefore, you may also want to check which is the maximum total system memory supported by the actual memory controller. can we mix 4GB and 8GB modules?
For example, can we use two 4GB modules in 2 slots and two 8GB modules in 2 slots for 24GB total?
Also, I should have minimum 2 modules in the mb to use the dual memory technology?
