I'm currently using the Intel Matrix Storage application to manage two harddrives, with one set up as a recovery volume set. My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R with BIOS Fh3 and operating system Windows 7 64-bit. None of these drivers are boot drives.
I'd like to replace the set with two 3TB drives running as a single partition using GPT.
1) Is the Intel Matrix Storage Manager fully compability with GPT and 3TB partitions?
2) During the transition phase, can I load one of the 3TB drives and add it as a recovery volume to the existing set? Will it be able to handle the fact that the recovery volume is GPT and the master is NTFS as well as the fact that the recovery is larger?
