Welcome to the new Bad Bios from Intel
I have the SAME problem, and I can't back to my old bios, Great, so Great Intel
While I would not call the lastest bios 'good', I am not having any issues overclocking (although my Win7 index did not improve just now..hmm).
My only issue is sleep mode not resuming when overclocked.
Looks like my 2600k CPU is only hitting 3.49Ghz max with this bios (checked with Prime95).
No wonder my mem speeds are slower than before when overclocked.
It seems newer revisions of this board are more accurate (showing actual accurate info on OC) because my board and utility combo is appearing to be overclocked when it actually isn't.
Intel....what did you do now?
I have the exact same issue... I just bought both of the products(2700k and dp67bg). Updated my bios to the latest 2111 and it wont overclock.
In the Intel Extreme Tuning Utiliy all of the multipliers, voltage setting, and non turbo boost multiplier are greyed out. Setting the turbo multiplier higher in bios has no effect either. Even though the multiplier is set higher in bios, once in windows I see no sign that it has been changed. My CPU will max out at 3597 mhz!
This is my first Intel board, please dont make me regret buying it. Intel please fix this ASAP!
You're right, this is my first Intel motherboard and am having a Very bad experimenting with it.
what did you do to revert the BIOS?
I tryed here but the system not accept the old BIOS.
I just ran the Windows exe and all is well.
If that is not working for you...use recovery mode.
yep, the windows exe not work to me
What did you say about recovery mode, is that jumper on motherboard?
I Downgrade BIOS to 2040 by this guide
the ( Recovery with CD-ROM ) method worked for me
OC to 4.5 - tested with prim95 all looks good
