Can the Memory DDR3-1600 work in CPU i7-2670QM ?

I want to buy notebook,it is using the CPU i7-2670QM with the memory DDR3-1600,

but the Specifications that i7-2670QM is only work in DDR3-1066/1333

Can anybody tell me why?

If it really support for DDR3-1066/1333,I think I will change it.

The memory will work as long as it has the voltage requirements, however, due to limitations on the memory controller hub on the processor, the RAM will be running only at 1333 MHz.
