No Memory Test in BIOS POST Screen for DX58SO2

    BobbyMurcerFan

I just installed a DX58SO2 and am trying to figure out how to get the BIOS to display the start-up memory test.

I am used to having the BIOS POST screen show the memory test, as my Intel 865PERL and Asus P6X58D-E both do this.

I've seached the Boot section of the BIOS and have disabled HyperBoot, but still no memory test display.

I know that the memory is properly installed b/c the test LED's on the mobo itself are all green and Memtest86+ shows 12Gig of 1066 memory.

But certainly there has to be a way to show the progress of the POST memory test on the BIOS splash screen.

      Thanks much!
