Sometimes I see it and sccBmc -i usually helps.
So if necessary, we can cycle the power without sudo, or...?
If you are using a data center system, yes you can power cycle with sudo. We have to set you up with a web power switch ... you get a usrname and a password. You log onto the switch which allows yout to turn on/off the power to the MCPC and the SCC. You can turn off the power to the SCC by trelnetting in and issuing power off, but the power to the board stays on. The web power switch lets you turn off all the power.
